I loved to see Madoka Magica, so I decided to do some fan art :D
Here, Sayaka and Kyoko are fighting with a witch.
The hardest things to do in this painting were Sayaka's pose and the background, but everything was so much fun to do :iconlachoirplz:
I'm kinda proud of this work, because I used little references and I think the result turned out well :airborne:

-waterproof ink
-"Academy" watercolors
-watercolor paper
-color pencils
-3 weeks

*for those who don't know, Sayaka's the one in blue with a sword, and Kyoko's the girl behind her

I loved to do this watercolor :D
The hardest thing to do was Sayaka's left arm (because of the perspective).
The painting took a few days to do because of all the color layers, but it wasn't particularly hard to make. :D
What we really need when we're doing watercolors is patience :dance:

Yeah! This whole layering process is very long if you don't have a hairdrier, I even screwed up a painting for not waiting long enough for the water to dry, the colors mixed in a wrong way xD.

Oh, I see... :D I think that happens :D
I don't use a hair dryer on my paintings (that's why they take me so long to do)... but I have to admit sometimes having to wait for the drawing to dry is good. Otherwise I wouldn't take any breaks. It's so easy to spend four hours in a row drawing and painting... :D
